biographie
Alison was born March 15, 1985 in Columbus, Ohio, USA. She is composed of various flavors of European. A 2003 graduate of Fort Hayes MEC and a current student at the Ohio State University from which she plans to graduate from in December 2007 with a major in International Studies and minors in Linguistics and Japanese. She plans to either teach or pursue a career in library science after teaching English in Japan for a bit. Alison is currently employed by the Columbus Metropolitan Library system and as much as she complains about genealogists and other denizens of the library, she loves her job. She can feign patience when in the company of children and strangers, but is quite irritable otherwise. She's sarcastic, a horrible singer, with equally bad dance moves, aspiring to take over the world any way possible. Alison likes to maintain the image that she is open minded, loving, and generally a good person. Sometimes she fails miserably at this and is informed that she is the most evil soul sucking creature to ever exist. She tries to avoid that though. She tends to donate to charity or do volunteer work to make up for her personality shortcomings. She wants to believe in the concept of true love. She demands respect. It has forged a strong independent and stubborn streak that seems to annoy most people. She won't ask for help, but she'll complain if you don't realize she needs it. She's a big sister to a charming pair of smooth fox terriers and serves as the family iguana whisperer. She is a protector of the backyard hens and loves animals, even cats, although she is allergic to them. In addition to being allergic to just about everything airborne, she is an asthmatic. Although it proved to be an issue during childhood and her early teen years, it has become less of a problem in recent years. For ten years she has been the only vegetarian in her immediate family and enjoys her veggie status. She spends her time gaming, crafting, reading, writing, drawing, and being a general internet bum.
